Lazy Arse Bitches

Ok this has been really fucking me up the arse of late, BUT WHY THE FUCK do people not bother to click on the 'reply to comment' button?? Why do people just 'ost a comment' or use the comment box underneath your reply to send a return message??

Because that way it doesn't alert the other user that you've sent them a message because you're not actually sending them a message. You're just posting a comment underneath. WHY???

And please don't argue because IT DOESN'T alert you, that is A FACT. I don't care if it alerts you on any other art site, like Sheezyart or Storm-Artists or MySpace-Thief-Art or whatever the fuck you use because this isn't any other art site. This is Deviantart, and they do things in a certain way here, whether you or I like it not.

The fact is that here if you don't click on the reply button, it doesn't reply. End of story.


People Don't Realise That You've Sent A Reply

There's no excuse to do it, and it's really fucking me up the arse now because several people on my friends list do it, and I want to actually find out when they bother to send me replies. Not just have to go onto their profile or wherever and have to guess, because I don't have time for all that.

If you think that I'm just going to wander onto your profile randomly one day to see if you've left me a comment then you're very much mistaken, because I'm not going through craploads of comments just to find yours, on the offchance that maybe (which is basically just a random guess of hope that I'm not wasting my time every single day by looking) that you've actually replied.


People Have Lives Outside Of DA

I'm a busy person just like anybody else. I have a life outside of Deviantart and I don't have time to keep running to about 1000 deviations, profiles or what have you every fucking five minutes. Read the above.


People Don't Even Visit Your Profile!

Do you really think that I come onto your profile everytime you make a deviatation, journal, poll or whatever? NO. I just fucking click on the fucking link in my fucking message center and just fucking reply or whatever. There's no reason for anybody to go onto your profile unless you ask them to like 'check out my new webcam' or something.

People just don't do it because they're only interested in seeing your deviations, which appear in your message center with a LINK. Which means that you go directly to the piece that they've posted and don't even see their profile AT ALL.


What About Thanks For The Fav/Watch?

So people may visit your profile when you fav or watch a person once every few weeks or something - WEEKS, sometimes even MONTHS if they're busy - but if they see you posting on your own page they're just going to see your icon and ignore the comment.

They won't even see what you've written because they'll just assume that it's got nothing to do with them. And, even if they do miraculously recognise the message as a reply to theirs, they still won't know what the fuck you're talking about, for the simple reason that there won't be a parent button.

And there's no way that they're going to go through all those bitch arse comments on your page just to get to theirs. And then the previous one. And then the previous one x1000, depending on how long the thread is.

JUST FUCKING CLICK ON THE FUCKING BUTTON. IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING DIFFICULT. If you can be bothered enough to send a reply then you can get off your arse and do it properly. You make it look as though you're doing us a favour by replying at all!

Sorry about that. I'm not getting at anyone in particular here, and I'm not angry at anyone on my friend's list. It's just what they're doing that annoys me, and it's not just them in particular it's anyone on Deviantart that you chat with who do it.

If you're afraid of me now then don't be. Just because I know who you are doesn't mean that we're enemies now or that I don't respect you. It just means that I'm really fucking irritated with you being lazy.
