My very first Scratch and Grounder fanart. I wasn't sure whether to put it in the video games section, or the TV/movies section since I've only seen the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (definitely not a supporter, I just like Scratch, Grounder and pisstake Robotnik.)

So incase there were any flame wars I put it in the TV/Movies section incase it annoyed people that I put it in the video games section, when it AOSTH has got nothing to do with the games (especially as I'm a newbie to Sonic still.)



The Picture

First of all, things I don't like about this picture and things people will probably comment on:

The lines are too thick - my next picture will need thinner lines. But it doesn't look too bad for a first... and I suppose it could tie in with the style if you don't look hard enough.

The shading on the characters isn't good... I used airbrush underneath because I can't shade properly This'll be something I need to improve on universally anyway, so.

Grounder is an impossible character to draw so there's only his head. Which is acceptable in this shot since I wanted the picture to focus on Scratch, and it does. ...Maybe he's looking at his dick or something. I dunno, caption that yourself. Go nuts on that one.


Things I Like

However that's not to say I don't like this picture at all. It's good for a first fanart, and it'll give me confidence on drawing them again.

It's just a random doodle no storyline here. However, I could throw in an amusing idea I had for a fanfic (when I get the time )

Flamers Allowed - Please Read

And Sonic fans - do flame me if I do something garbage. I haven't grown up with the games, and don't know what's acceptable and what's not. I need to be able to test the waters here, and flames (especially angry ones) tell me just exactly HOW acceptable/not acceptable things are.

If it sounds bad - give it all you've got. I might withdraw this idea later but I've got nothing to lose for now, so...
