The second piece to :iconbradsgurl:'s birthday piece because umm... :o I don't know really, I just feel like giving you a present.

This is to go with a fanfic idea I had, and I will eventually submit this to Butch Hartman as he seems to be struggling for ideas. However, I want it known that I was the one who put the effort into all of this if it does kick off - as I doubt they'd credit me on FOP  Especially if Butch Hartman's thieving is anything to go by.

It's... very complicated to be honest. To go with a fanfic I wanted (but lost the time) to write. Cosmo himself isn't angsty, I had the idea that he isn't even a real life form, merely a pawn in a much darker game that's being played.

Because lets face it - the new Cosmo is so embarassingly sweatdropping there needs to be a proper reason why he's like that

<--- PLEASE IGNORE THE BELOW. IT'S A LOT OF SHIT AND NEEDS TO BE REWRITTEN AS IT SOUNDS PATHETIC NOW. It would be much better if the Anti Fairies were mere manifestations of some's minds, something supernatural anyway --->

Anti Fairy's Origin

I had the idea that madness just didn't exist. The anti fairies have been developed in the cartoon to look evil, and like miserable backstabbing traitors determined to bring the world to a grinding halt. But what if the anti fairies had a much darker, but more tragic background that had brought them all together to be imprisoned under the government's supervision.

A great government coverup has taken place over the past several hundred thousand years, recklessly destroying the world and the dimensions of Morolon* that the Anti fairies lived in once, like wildfire.

(*Morolon - a land where hope and happiness existed at one time, until the great army of Faylinn (means Fairy Kingdom [link] / Fairy World) destroyed the great beauty of the world, with fire and machinery and terror because of their prejudiced beliefs.)

Their people were dying and disappearing, murders and suffering forced upon them, burnt alive then torn open and filled with rats or insects to devour the barely concious corpses as sacrifices, in part of a disgusting ritual. Hallucinary toxins and black magic was used, to crush every ounce of happiness left in the place, for they had no place amongst ordinary men*.

(*I must mention that my philosophy on life, is that anything greater than you is merely more evolved. But the power of fear and certain philosophies on the mind can be destructive, no matter how clever and well thought out. Which is why, instead of letting the children figure out their past, and what forms of life anything mythical could be, and how they became, the one answer of 'magic' is used, to let those not evolved enough feel complete, without suffering a head fuck for the rest of their life.

They would know when they were ready, how the fairies came about - my idea was that they weren't magical, just extremely evolved human beings with more developed parts of their brain. The humans are living in a different dimension to them all the time, they represent the mythological creature's ancestors - which is why they must be kept in the dark until they can figure out life themselves.)

Why Do We Never See Cosmo's Father?

During the darkness, previous ministry workers were called out of retirement to hunt down each Morolon citizen like a dog if escape had been tried, and it was made illegal for anyone to help them. Such terrible suffering was destroying the world they lived in, everything others had fought for, and one of Jorgen's close friends was murdered.

I had the idea that this could have been Anti Cosmo's father. His wife and he had been secretly working with Jorgen to save the race, alongside many other citizens from around 'their' world (Fairy World particularly *o* I love the fairy citizens best I don't know why) and Anti Cosmo's father was one of the best men there*

(* I don't want that to sound mary sue. He's supposed to be a character you long for deeply and love through his background and personality, a true character of wisdom, broad shouldered, warm toned and taken degrees in computing and engineering.)

He and his wife went into hiding at one point when the government suspected them for a short while, but returned again later when the heat was off. However, finally discovered as outsiders, they disappeared into the shadows of the town to live alongside the dead until the time was right, found later and brutally murdered.

I had the lovely theory that Jorgen could've taken a big part in being a positive father figure occasionally when around Elinor's place, but mostly spent his time protecting his long lost friend's son (AC) elsewhere, which is perhaps why Jorgen is seen to keep his distance at first from 'Cosmo.'

However, it would be lovely to think that it hurts Jorgen to see 'Cosmo', reminded of what could have been and how AC's innocence had been shattered and torn from him, but how secretly proud he is of him.

See Why Does Poof Look Like Cupid for Cosmo's real father.

Why Do Anti Fairies Share Their Counter Part's Bodies?

During the last and most horrific moments of the rat and corpse filled abyss the land had become, Anti Cosmo (a toddler) died like the rest in agonising pain and torment. Only moments before he was discovered, he split his soul to save his happiness from such a terrible fate, and left the child outside Mama Cosma's door for adoption (I thought of calling her Elinor.) This twisted, but pure form of life, would become Cosmo and would live on with protection in the hope of dominating the now corrupted Anti Cosmo's soul, bringing peace and life back to the world once more...

(The anti fairies weren't called 'anti fairies' back then, except as a degrading insult from those prejudiced. They weren't real people, and weren't equal to anyone else, suffering rape and horrors unimaginable. But I'm calling them Anti fairies for no so you know who I'm talking about. Anti Cosmo is really just Cosmo, but his previous self.)

Mama Cosma and her 'husband' were part of the group fighting for good, and as they looked closest to Anti Cosmo in appearance, they were chosen as the new parents for the only good part left of his soul until the time came.

(I'd like to mention that they weren't really married, it was just a part played in a game for the war. I always wondered why Papa Cosma never appeared in the show except in a flashback, and why Mama Cosma is now flirting with Wanda's father. They could be divorced, as they had to make it seem realistic.)

I thought it interesting to see what Fairy World's reaction would be, if they realised that a lot of them aren't even real forms of life. They haven't even got any rights to their own lives, and the chaos it would cause if each wanted to discover their own past - Morolon has become a terrible place to go. The dead live on there, through suffering and agony, in a hellish dimension of deformed and twisted life forms, barbed wire covered in blood where people have been hung, insects with faces attacking people, and people being torn apart and giving birth to demons.

Also the anti faires weren't blue as they were real people - I thought perhaps the blue could represent death and black in the cartoon world.)

What Are They Now?

And all of this... creates the Anti Fairies. Jorgen managed to find most of them and bring them back to Fairy World where they could stay in their own prison like world, until the right time came, no different to when they were dead. The monstrous suffering they went through, would build up through an evil hatred so dark and full of despair that those who made them suffer would later be taken underground to face their fears in hell. They were given a fake origin and day to blend in with other characters to hide their true selves, and still lurk.

It made sense why the anti fairies had to share certain parts of themselves with the regular 'fairies' and explained why they couldn't be seen. They were themselves and were merely living in a different dimension.

Why Poof Looks Like Cupid (maybe)

Another idea I had is that when Timmy wishes for a baby, and they get Poof who is pink and round, and looks almost identical to Cupid... Now, I had the idea that Anti Cosmo's 'father' could still be unknown (no I'm not talking about Cupid.)

Anti Cosmo's father was one of Jorgen's and the tooth fairy's closest friends when they were much younger. (I'll call him Neil for quickness / proper name later.) It is discovered in Cosmo/Wanda's time that Neil was never the father, and had in fact never even been a mythical creature. He had in fact been a half blood (or a human with mind so mentally challenged he can make things exist in his own distorted reality, and was very difficult at the time to define him a human with powers so strong.)

AC's mother (Laila - meaning An angel appointed to guard the spirits at their Birth) had had a relationship with someone else before in the acting business, but then due to events became incredibly depressed, having given her heart to him and longing but a child, but knowing it would never happen. She still loved this other guy but wanted to protect him.

It was then she met Neil, and over a long period of time became closer, and eventually fell pregnant*.

(* It was assumed since the dates were so close that Anti Cosmo was Neil's baby but it turns out in recent history that it was actually the April Fool's.)

The whole Poof thing is really difficult to think out, but I thought maybe since Poof was wished for... he doesn't carry specific genes, and has genes of Cupid since he's currently sleeping with Anti Cosmo's father. Cupid wouldn't be the father though but.. :\ I dunno.

This is something I'll have to really think about since I'll be submitting all of this to BH.

Anti Cosmo's Relationship With Timmy

Since Cosmo isn't the real Cosmo, it would be very sweet if really Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda were innocent behind the darkness they'd drowned in. Maybe all they'd ever wanted was to settle down and raise children, then later have their own family...

Wouldn't it be wonderful to see more of normal Anti Cosmo instead of badly directed Simpsons rip off Anti Cosmo? This music is really beautiful: [link]

Theories

a) Mr and Mrs Turner could be Alice and Stevon - which seems to fit. (I thought of the names for OffForAShite's The Divorce fanfic years ago.)

b) Mama Cosma's name could be Elinor or Eileen, though I think Elinor fits more.

c) Marcus seems to fit Wanda's father... thought it sounds a bit gay >.> it looks good on paper?

It all makes so much sense... You know, I always saw Anti-Cosmo doing whatever he could to protect/care for Cosmo, since he is his counterpart and if anything happens to him, who knows what would happen to AC. Like, whatever happens to one affects the other. That kind of thing.

AND D'AWWW TWO GIFTS? You're amazing. Just fking amazing. I love this so much. That sad Cosmo and AC on the left there is the most precious thing I have seen lately...

But he also seems to have a soft side in the earlier episodes, as though there's a beautiful person under that forced darkness ;_;

I don't like the later Anti Cosmo he seems to have had several of his lines taken off the Simpsons word for word, and he seems evil and shallow.

Well I was really late so ^^; yeah.

Thanks. Anti Cosmo makes me sad when I look at him... I wanted it to reflect on Cosmo a little.

Ahh, yes, the earlier episodes... everything was different with all the characters back then.

I see what you mean about Anti-Cosmo completely. But, considering I have an obsession with very dark and complex characters, I think the direction Butch has taken with AC is actually quite appealing. To me anyway. :'D Ignoring the moments where AC is trying to be funny, the fact that he is shallow, arrogant, and wants everything to be his to use for his own evil purposes... I dunno, I like it. I just like complex, clever, asshole-ish, "bad guy" characters. Which I think is what Butch is trying to make AC into. At least, it really does seem like that is the case...

Good old AC and friends!
:iconcosmoandfriends:
Maybe you should do a fanfic about AC when he lost his wife.
:iconcosmoandfriends:
Very good job on AC & Cossie in the background!
